All of 4 paws training methods are based on a positive system of reinforcement. Lessons are taught with the use of positive rewards and praise only.
PUPPY CLASSES: 8-1 hour sessions held once a week for
8 weeks.
SKILLS TAUGHT: Positive reinforcement, general puppy care, puppy
problems nipping, leave it, wait, jumping up, quiet, loose
leash walking, come when called. PRICE: $100.00 for 8-1 hour
classes.
BASIC OBEDIENCE GROUP: 8-1 hour sessions held once
a week for 8 weeks
SKILLS TAUGHT: Basic methods of how to motivate your dog for
training, owner/dog partnership and bonding, educational playtime,
socialization, sit, down, come, stay and loose leash walking/basic
heel. Pointers and tips will be given on house training, chewing
and other basics. PRICE: $150.00 for 8-1 hour classes.
INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE GROUP: 8-1 hour sessions held
once a week for 8 weeks PREREQUISITES: Completion of Basic
Obedience or instructor's approval.
SKILLS TAUGHT: Off leash heeling, heeling with changes in direction
and pace, automatic halt in heel, distance sit, distance down,
come from a larger distance, come with distractions, long stay,
long stay with distractions, stand for examinations and grooming,
finish to heel. PRICE: $150.00 for 8-1 hour lessons.
ADVANCED OBEDIENCE GROUP: 8-1 hour sessions held once a week for 8 weeks - PREREQUISITES: Completion of Basic and Intermediate Obedience or instructor's approval. SKILLS TAUGHT: Off leash heel, off leash distance sit and down, out of sight and high distraction off leash stay, precision fronts and finishes, hand signals, retrieve on command. PRICE: $190.00 for 8-1 hour classes.
PRIVATE LESSONS: Private lessons are great for owners whose pets are too high strung, too nervous or too aggressive for a group class. Private lessons are strongly encouraged for resolving behavioral problems, where the instructor is able to give their complete attention to the owner and their pet. We offer all of our classes for private lessons. The price for our private lessons are $80.00 dollars per hour with a $20.00 dollar surcharge for distances 20 miles away or greater.
